At the Aegean Airlines DOH Terminal, the check-in process was pleasantly smooth. There were several self-service machines that functioned flawlessly, and personnel were available to help travelers who weren't familiar with the process. The lines were minimal, and I liked that there was a specific counter for families and people who required help. The whole process—baggage drop to printing boarding pass—took less than 10 minutes. The crew examined my documents carefully and responded to my inquiries without hurrying me. Security checking was orderly and never made me feel as though I was being pushed along as in some other bigger terminals. All was right with the pace and the clarity. This sort of stress-free check-in can either make or break the start of a trip, and mine began well.
