Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a stupendous trip by walking toward the South Face of Annapurna I - a charming climb through the differing Nepalese scene and its way of life. The Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is an enthralling mix of excellent trekking and spectacular wilderness with a backdrop of high peaks. Following an ancient trade route to Tibet, we climb beyond the rhododendron and bamboo forests, terraced fields and quaint villages of the lowlands, to reach a world of glaciers and magnificent peaks at the Annapurna South Base Camp, 4130m. This amazing trek follows a gorge leading into the mountain fortress known as the “Annapurna Sanctuary", the divine abode of the Hindu goddesses Annapurna and Gangapurna. It is a slightly longer version of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek as it includes a hike along high ridges to Ghorepani and a pre-dawn walk up to Poon Hill to watch the sun’s first rays touch the peaks of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurnas.
