Everest Base Camp Trek (16 Days) Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek is the most popular trek in Nepal. It goes through the famous Sherpa settlements that are renowned to lead the trekkers and mountaineers. During the excursion to EBC, the splendid views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nupste, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam and other airborne peaks allure to explore this mysterious alpine land. Another exciting aspect of the trek is the Sherpa cultural traditions, sites and their remarkable lifestyle. Walking through the hidden Sherpa Valleys, you get the fascinations of the exotic flora and fauna. Beginning the Everest base camp trekking from Lukla, you enter into the Sagarmatha National Park and walk thoroughly passing some of the enticing valleys. The region is spectacular with the typical wildlife having some endangered flora and fauna. It is a home of the Himalayan that, snow leopard, pheasant and others. Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Tengboche, Pangboche and some other places are the representative villages on the Everest base camp trail to display the cultural matters. Some of the people from the hidden communities still follow some traditional pattern of lifestyle, which means fully spiritual. Several monasteries and Chhortens are the symbols of their beliefs and they are highly influenced by the Tibetan Buddhism. Following the trail with glaciers and moraines, you reach to the Gorakshep and hike to the Everest base camp and Kalapatthar one after another destination.
