My recent flight with Frontier Airlines LAX Terminal out of Los Angeles International Airport was unexpectedly swift and seamless, especially considering how busy LAX is known to be. Despite not being the newest terminal at LAX, Terminal 5, where Frontier operates, had all I needed for a smooth departure. I got to the airport about two hours early, just to be safe. Check-in was easy since I had already checked in through the Frontier app the night before. I just needed to print my bag tag at a kiosk and drop off my suitcase, which took less than 10 minutes. The staff were helpful and moved the lines along quickly. Security at Terminal 5 was a bit busy, but it moved at a decent pace. Once I was through, I found plenty of seating near my gate and was glad to see charging stations available, which was a lifesaver for my phone. I grabbed a coffee from Peet’s and had a breakfast sandwich while I waited. Boarding was on time and organized by group number. Since I had only paid for a personal item, I didn’t have to worry about overhead bin space. The flight boarded and departed right on schedule, which I appreciated. Frontier isn’t fancy, but for a short trip, it was exactly what I needed.
