Traveling with Frontier Airlines out of San José’s Juan Santamaría International Airport was actually much smoother than I imagined. The aircraft was basic but clean, and the crew were friendly and upbeat. I knew ahead of time that Frontier doesn’t offer complimentary snacks or entertainment, so I brought my own, which helped pass the time during the flight. We left right on schedule and landed earlier than expected, which is always a win. Overall, I found the entire experience to be efficient and surprisingly pleasant for a low-cost airline. If you're traveling light and don’t mind packing your own extras, Frontier at SJO is a smart choice. It’s a no-frills experience, sure, but it gets the job done affordably. I’d definitely fly with them again if the price is right and the schedule works. Just plan ahead, be patient, and enjoy the journey.
