The popular trek of Nepal i.e Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Its situated at the edge of famous Khumbu Region and this summit takes the panoramic view of five off the worlds 8000 m peaks i.e Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Choyu and many others. Although physically very demanding on account of the altitude, the climbing on Mera Peak is not technically difficult. The major destination to be passed during this trek are Lukla, Tharka la pass, Thangna, Khaare, Mera Peak Base Camp, High camp and so on. The famous ethnic Sherpa people are very friendly in this area. The trek is ideal for those with moderate mountaineering experience, a good level of fitness and a keen sense of adventure. The most favorable seasons for Mera peak Climbing are Spring (March, April, May) and Autumn (mid September to November).
