About Us Greetings! We are overjoyed to see the completion of 13 years of our services. We\'d never thought we\'d receive such a good response from people, valued agents from all over the world. From what started as a blog, Splendid Holidays has today grown and can be considered as one of the leading upcoming sustainable travel specialists of Nepal. It has been encouraging to have received guests from around the world, till as far as Greenland. Staying true to the aims we set out for, we have tried our best to bring meaningful travel experiences in the region, by promoting and using the services offered by locals in transport, accommodation, food and ethnic shops. At the same time, we have also had training programs with local providers dealing with responsible tourism and providing quality friendly services to our guests. The most satisfying of endeavor has been the funds we have helped poor orphanage to continue schooling in Far west Nepal. Coming to the travel part, this year we had tours going to some very remote places. In Mt.Kailash Manasoravar Lake, we visited the very truly wild frontiers of the Tibetan Valley. There are plans for a never-done-before-by-anyone explore in that area which has been possible only with Splendid Holidays -Nepal. We also entered the most traditional part of entire northwest, a brief visit to Tirthapuri & several other lakes around the Mt Kailash, which as we found out is a very special and unseen part of Kailash / Tibet. In Tibet, new additions are Simikot to Kailash / Everest Base Camp to Kailash / Ali to Kailash by air. We\'d like to express our gratitude to all of our guests, friends, followers and well wishers, to have supported us in the growth of our company and for all the valuable feedback which has helped us improve the quality of our services to newer standards. To end with, the time is ripe to explore Mt Kailash / Manasoravr! The region offers truly unique experiences in culture, biodiversity, natural places and history including a life time visit to the home of Lord Shiva. A land of simple people, a visit to the Mt Kailash / Manasoravar is a fun and learning experience in a very special and dear part of Tibet/ China. Coming up 2014 We have a couple of plans for the coming season. We\'ll be launching tours to new and unexplored places of Tibet / Kailash. You can expect Himalayan wildlife-birding tours/treks, leaded by local experts, to new. Another activity we are excited about is angling, as the region offers some very pristine spots to spend a few days camping midst the great outdoors. We are also ready to accept queries from enthusiasts who are keen to explore the region\'s mountains and valleys in expedition style journeys. We can provide all the logistic support needed, and are equally enthusiastic about exploring the uncharted outdoors. In culture, new routes have been identified. Tours will soon be listed in our website which will cover the unexplored western Tibet. We will also be aggressively promoting numerous fascinating indigenous festivals of the region, such as Saga Dawa festival. Lastly, as Kailash / Manasoravar is home to Lord Shiva, is for all religious people.
