It's always a treat traveling with friends, but the most memorable time is when nothing goes wrong — or when it goes wrong with grace. And that's exactly what transpired with us at the Delta Airlines Lagos Office and I have to commend them for going beyond expectations to make our experience an enjoyable one. My friends and I were organizing a trip to America, and we wanted to validate some information around baggage, seating, and rescheduling. So, we chose to go to the Lagos Office personally just to confirm everything was going on smoothly. Frankly speaking, we did not expect too much — all we wanted to do was gain entry, access assistance, and exit. Much to our surprise, the encounter turned out greater than we ever expected. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly and very competent staff who were obviously professional and knew their job. One of my companions had a complicated problem with her ticket (she had booked on a third-party site), but the Delta employee took the time to patiently explain her options, made some calls, and fixed it right there. That in itself was impressive. In a city as crazy as Lagos, the Delta office stood out as a tranquil oasis. Clean, tidy, and service-oriented. Such an experience turned us into Delta regulars — and quite frankly, such good service should be rewarded. Much thanks to the Lagos staff for making us feel like more than mere customers. We'll be returning.
