The person who assisted me (I believe her name was Emma) was great—kind, patient, and obviously experienced with KLM's booking procedures and fare regulations. I was especially impressed with how she got me a better route that not only avoided a layover in Amsterdam but also reduced the fare by a bit. She even provided me with advice on carry-on allowance and how to check in more effectively using the KLM app. The waiting area itself is very clean and modern, although small on chairs if you're forced to wait. Yet, the wait wasn't great, and free Wi-Fi was offered. I believe the Southampton office is a secret gem—particularly for those who like to interact face-to-face or require more one-on-one assistance. In a world where airline assistance so often is a frustration, this experience really was a stand-out. Thanks once again to the KLM Airlines Southampton Office staff for their assistance—I will certainly be using them again.
