The woman who assisted me—unfortunately, I don’t recall her name—was calm, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. She explained all the requirements I would need for my destination and helped me book a multi-city ticket that aligned with my travel needs. What stood out was how she anticipated things I hadn’t even thought of—like how long I’d need between connections given airport security times in Paris. She also gave me tips on what to expect in terms of in-flight protocols and helped with seat selection. I have a bad knee and was worried about sitting for long stretches, so she ensured I had extra legroom. It’s small things like that which make a world of difference during stressful times. When I called later to update my return leg, the representative on the phone from the same office was just as helpful. There’s a consistency in the customer service that I really appreciate. I’ve dealt with airline offices in other cities before, and often you’re left feeling like a number. That wasn’t the case here. I’ll definitely be flying KLM more often, and the KLM Airlines Chicago Office will be my go-to for any complex travel plans. Thank you to the team for going the extra mile.
