Hi, My favorite thing about flying Southwest Airlines DCA Terminal is how easily I can fly in and out of the airport. Right across the river from downtown D.C., the terminal is so easily accessible by Metro or ride-share. I used the app to check in and dropped my bags at the counter with no wait. Security passed quickly, and after just 20 minutes from the time I arrived at the airport, I was at my gate with a cup of coffee. Boarding was seamless thanks to well-organized gate personnel, and the flight attendants were friendly and cheerful. Southwest's open seating is fine if you get on early—and the fact that there are no fees for bags is a tremendous advantage. On arrival, bags rolled off the plane in a hurry and ride-share pick-up was simple. Overall, the DCA Southwest terminal provides world-class service and unparalleled convenience.
