Flying with a family member in a wheelchair, I made sure every detail was attended to prior to our flight out of Tucson. The Southwest Airlines Tucson Office representatives amazed me at how sensitive and detail-oriented they were. The agent responsible for special services thoroughly recorded our needs, from stowage for mobility aids to pre-boarding preferences. She worked directly with Tucson International Airport's ground staff to ensure wheelchair assistance at departure and arrival. She also gave us printed directions on how to ask for in-flight wheelchair assistance, along with seat selection advice for maximum space. Her friendly, patient nature reassured us, particularly because my family member is fearful of flying. The office even sent a follow-up email with all the service codes and contact numbers we would need. Due to this level of concern, our experience was seamless from beginning to end. I highly recommend the Tucson office to anyone who needs accessible-travel assistance—they really go out of their way.
